We are a small Alabama farm located in the Tennessee Valley.
We practice regenerative farming techniques with a goal of achieving
healthy soil, healthy animals, & healthy humans!
Intro
My name is Jonathan and I am situated on 360 acres of pasture and woodland in north Alabama,
we are striving to utilize these God-given natural resources to the best of our ability. We
currently garden and raise meat chickens. Our goal, in the coming years, is to expand the farm
ecosystem by adding cattle, sheep, pigs, ducks, and various other plants and animal life. The
key in regenerative agriculture is DIVERSITY! Without diversity of plant and animal life, the
farm's ecosystem will not be healthy.
I am many things, a business owner, entrepreneur, violinist and violin maker, composer and
photographer, but the role that is probably most important to me right now is FARMER. I have,
most recently, worked in the food service industry as a Restaurant General Manager and decided
to leave that position so I could focus on farming. Being the good businesmen that I am, I've
decided to make the farm a business and raise chickens for others as well! After all, anything
worth doing, is worth making a business yes?
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the latest happenings around the farm. We
also have a newsletter signup for those of you who loath social media.
We currently farm meat chickens under the USDA Custom Processing exemtpion. What does that even mean?
Glad you asked! We raise & manage YOUR chickens for YOU!
Your chickens are raised free-range on fresh grass daily. They have fresh air and sunshine 24/7 and
are fed only non GMO, organic, soy-free feed. The chickens weigh, on average, 4.5 lbs once processed
and are packaged by us, on our farm, to ensure you have the healthiest, cleanest birds from brooder to
table.
If you're looking for healthy chickens who have not been raised on hormones, soy feed, steroids, and
other unhealthy farming practices, we'd love to work for you! Please use the form below to begin the
process of reserving your chickens or contact us with questions you may have.
Want to learn how we do it? We have volunteer positions availble. We believe regenerative farming practices
are the future and want to teach others how to farm for themselves.
Join us on processing day for access to our volunteer pricing options! For information about volunteering on
processing day, please use the form below to contact us.
Thank you for your subscription! We understand that not everyone does social media and our email news letter is a way for you to keep up with us
without the hassle of Facebook. We don't spam and we won't share your email.
